Morrigane’s
Live Show tries to be, above it all, a “mise-en-scéne” performed
jointly between the audience and the band. Our band tries to manage
an active participation of the audience in the show: we love when
the audience responds to our music chorusing, dancing, clapping…
Or responding to the “gimmicks” of the infatigable José Carlos,
to the heavy-metal poses and “solos” of Iván, or to the dances
performed by Agustín (only when he has a pint of Guinness
close to him, lol)… We don’t resign ourselves to an unidirectional
show: we need (so we manage to achieve) the audience response. Audience
is always integrated in the show: they make every show different
to each other! From a show in a little pub to a great festival show,
every one of them has their own environment and peculiarities: the
circunstances and the audience for each show always will be singular,
and the band always will respond appropiately to them, searching
that “key” to tune band and audience, each one to the other. That
“communion” adds that “common component” that exceeds the mere checksum
of “band plus audience”. And Morrigane will search that key until
the show has its own and singular life: sometimes happy, sometimes
melancholic; sometimes faster and harder than hell; sometimes soft,
sweet and tender as Heaven. But always spontaneous, deeply felt
and communicative.
All
of that, counting with the best sound quality (José Carlos,
as sound senior technician, knows so well what are the “unique keys”
of Morrigane’s sound) and with the best band “mise-en-scéne”,
both of them analyzed and prepared for each show in particular.
