ZinetriX 2.0
ZinetriX is a video player for ZX Spectrum.
ZX Spectrum processes a digital video stream from EAR input.
WARNING: Don't expect hi-quality video when playing ZinetriX. Use it only for your own fun.
ZinetriX options on Windows video compiler:
Select .tap that contains video frames saved as SCREEN$
Select correct sampling frequency of the audio device that will play video
Select screen size. Bigger size means slow frames per second
Negativ: if video source contains more 'one' pixels than 'zero' pixles (obscure videos), it is faster to transmit negative video
Optionally an audio track can be added. If so, a stereo .wav file will be created.
IMPORTANT: audio track should be a .wav file 8-bits mono and same sample frequency than selected for video.
Then left channel (digital video signal) should be connected to EAR Spectrum socket.
Right channel (audio track) should be connected to one speaker. Audio syncronitation is not guaranteed
ZinetriX options on zx Spectrum:
Load ZinetriX.wav (ZinetriX.tap) into Spectrum.
Select desidered colors. Select same screen size and sampling frequency as video.wav to be played.
Press '9' key and then play video.wav or video_audio.wav.
Press 'P' key to stop
